Envy: Fortress Power

It’s been about a year since we got our solar and battery system installed. The app intermittently says the system is off line when it is not. The little router has all the proper lights so I know cloud and internet is connected. If you’re able to connect with the app and you try to adjust the settings 50% of the time the app pops up with a time out error when trying to load the settings. On the slim chance it does load the settings from your inverter…when you adjust the settings in the app and they click the save or apply button it doesn’t actually save. I tried no less than 10 times to adjust how much battery will discharge when connected to the grid and it never saved the setting. I had to go to the panel on the inverter to make the change. Terrible app! Common fortress, get it together please.

This application appears to be what trained Fortress engineers use to tweak the system. It is not for you! If you forget to hit the READ button at the right time or don’t notice a bad setting, the system will stop working and they will blame you for it. I suggest you delete the application and open a ticket every time you need a change.
