SMJ Smart Scheme – Ponmagal Gold Saving Plan

Ponmagal is a structured gold weight–based savings scheme from SMJ SENTHIL MURUGAN JEWELLERS, designed to help you accumulate gold in a disciplined and transparent way.

Each monthly payment is converted into 22kt gold weight at the prevailing board rate on the date of payment. On redemption, customers can enjoy zero making and wastage charges within the accumulated gold weight (Terms & Conditions apply).

Key Features

• Minimum Monthly Payment Start with ₹1,000 and pay in multiples of ₹1,000.

• Scheme Duration 11-month savings plan.

• Account Opening Open your Ponmagal scheme at the store. After activation, the next 10 monthly instalments can be paid through this app.

• Gold Conversion Each instalment is converted to 22kt gold weight at the board rate applicable on the payment date.

• Gold Accumulation The credited gold weight is added monthly to your scheme account.

• Making & Wastage Benefit No making or wastage charges on jewellery purchased within your accumulated gold weight. Stone value (if applicable) is payable by the customer.

Redemption Details

• Redemption can be done in the 12th month after completing all 11 instalments • Applicable for gold ornaments and silver articles only • Not applicable for diamond jewellery, silver MRP items, or gift articles • If the jewellery weight exceeds the accumulated gold weight, the making & wastage apply only on the excess

Example

If you save ₹2,000 when the 22kt board rate is ₹11,450/g, You receive approximately 0.175 g of gold for that month.
