Find My Understudied Genes

Find My Understudied Genes (FMUG) is a rationally-designed tool to helps biologists identify understudied genes and characterize their tractability for future research.

Users submit a list of human genes (presumably from a high-throughput -omics experiment) and can filter these genes down based on a large list of factors, including:

• Number of articles about gene
• Probability of differential expression
• Homology in model organisms
• Availability of reagents
• Number of articles about relationship between gene and disease and many more!
