CrewChief is a cutting-edge mobile app designed to optimize field service operations. The platform offers tools that enhance efficiency, safety, and communication for fleet and field service teams. CrewChief can be used by an individual for tracking person mileage and work hours integrated with Geotab and other telematics providers. CrewChief provides real-time GPS tracking, rapid lone worker alerting, and comprehensive features—all in one intuitive interface.

Features:

Tracking: Track the mobile app in real-time showing the last reported location for safety. Foot, bike, and scooter mobile workers remain visible for safety and productivity. Combined with the Time Clock, a picture is formed throughout the day.

Time Clock: Log shift, break, and personal time and mileage for payroll or reimbursement. Personal time and mileage is calculated but travel is not logged enabling personal cell phone to be used for work. The Private Mode feature disables all location and logging services giving the user total privacy when not working.

Priority Alers (Lone worker or man-down): Help keep workers safe with a fast and reliable notification function to dispatchers and key leadership. Railyard workers, security patrols, city and school bus drivers, meter readers, child protective services, and others at risk can improve safety with the click of a button. The service is not monitored by 911 but goes to an employer for disposition.

Automated Driver ID: When used with Geotab and other telematics providers, the CrewChief app becomes a tool to link GPS trackers with mobile app users to identify a driver or passengers. Automatically monitor who is driving cars or trucks to deliver products and services. This service is not designed for slow moving asset such as driver ID in heavy equipment. The manual trip takes care of that.

Accident Reporting: Use the built in eform to accurately and thoroughly document accidents under stress. The form and process were developed to maximize speed and accuracy. The faster legal counsel and management get accident details, the less expensive the incident.

Manual Trip: Log off-rode mileage and time for fuel tax reporting or personal records. This can also be used to identify equipment operators working in small areas in slow moving assets.

Location Disclosure: The CrewChief mobile app collects location data to enable the following features even when the app is closed (in the background) in order to enable Driver Identification of company assets without having to open the CrewChief app in the foreground. Background location is limited to the last 3 valid GPS data points, not a detailed history over an extended period of time. Driver ID is a key function to assigning users to the correct vehicle without requiring other physical or digital steps to be taken by the user. While the app is active (in the foreground), location information is shared with the web portal for the user's employer to monitor work progress, interact with zone, geolocate fueling locations, monitor stop time, work hours and other work-related activities. You can change disable or modify some or all features in the app using Enable Private Mode functionality or in the OS. Reasonable efforts are made to anonymize location data when applicable. Data is not sold or shared for marketing.

Features that only use location in the background for work-related activities and services:

1. Driver ID to determine which company asset is being used.
2. Geolocation-based alerts from various sources such as severe weather, Amber Alert, and iPAWS.
3. Proximity to other users for priority alerting and rapid response.
4. Work related activities.

Disabling or adjusting settings may eliminate being able to receive location-based alerts and communication and receive any rescue or assistance for nearby users. Always call 911 first for emergencies.
