Adblock Podcast

I love my podcasts but struggle to maintain focus through ads. I have a lot of Patreon memberships but they add up and not all podcasts offer an ad-free version. I’m so happy I found this app. The cost is low when I compare it to multiple Patreon subs and they send some royalties to the podcasters. And the devs definitely care. I think I’ve emailed their support four or five times now with some really idiotic questions (not on purpose) and perhaps a few whiny ones when I encounter a feature that bothers me— they always email back personally by the next day with a very patient and polite response. Lately so many companies have been stomping on us and giving us AI “empathy” and not much else. I’m happy to pay for an app that may have a bug or two to work out but the devs care enough to respond and work on them and make the effort to move ethically. It’s a great service.

Login is broken

I love the idea especially that the podcast creators get reimbursed without my having to listen to ads It has some bugs and misses some ads Also the creator has been only sporadically responsive to my questions and concerns It will be 5 stars when these things are addressed
