Warranty Using the BMC Companion App, showcases your commitment to keeping your valued bike in pristine condition! We support and reward this dedication by extending the warranty of your BMC bike frame from the original 3-year warranty to 5 years if registered within 6 months of initial purchase.

Bike Details To start with, the app is exclusively for owners of BMC models from 2018 on. But we promise to expand our capacity with the next release, so if your valued bike comes from a different brand, you can manually enter the required info whilst still being rewarded with the same functionalities experienced by owners of BMC models from 2018 on.

Maintenance Reminders After registering within the app, the rider is asked to set up their Companion account by linking their bike and their related cycling apps (Eg: Strava). The combination of your riding and bike info will trigger health check reminders for each bike component.

Service History Keep track of your bike’s complete service history as well as additional notes from you or your trusted mechanic in a user-friendly interface. All tracked at the component level but also viewable across the overall bike.

Group Rides Find riding companions for adventures, share your passion, and create lasting memories. Customize with your own avatar and rider type that truly represents you.

The app is pretty simple but we’ll design and, so far, bug free. I understand many other features will be added in the future so I look forward to the updates. Update 6/1/23 The app needs to evolve. Too many basic functionalities missing. What is even more frustrating is the inability to provide feedback and features request. Also please fix the contact us email links. They are not clickable and not selectable which means you have to remember the email to then type it in you mail app. Also while we are at it, can you add a function to filter km/miles ridden within a certain time frame? I would love to be able to see how many I’m I did for the year/month etc. Strava doesn’t do that either so that’s an easy way to get ahead. Update 01/06/26 Seems my account was simply deleted. Pathetic and frustrating

I have a top of the range BMC SLR 01 One bike from 2023 that costs around $14,000. My fork was damaged in an accident. My surprise came when I went to the store in the USA and realized that there was no stock in all of the USA. Well, I said to myself: I'm going to write directly to BMC in Switzerland so that they can fix it for me. No, the answer was worse, that there weren't any in the world and that they didn't know when they were going to build more. I don't have an obsolete bike, at least that's what I thought. But it seems that for BMC our money and the trust we put in a brand and its support are worth very little. I have been very disappointed with the brand. I'll see how I solve my problem on my own, because for BMC my 2023 bike is already discontinued. They lost a customer 👍
