Intermatic Connect

To start with this is a huge jump from the mechanical dumb timers and has changed the game on my property. They work well and I have had zero issues. I have two suggestions however that I think will help make them much better. 1) A specific amount of time to run after sunrise or sunset. You can do this by setting an offset time but it is limited to 2 hours from sunset or sunrise. So it you want to run your lights 4 hours from sunset it cannot be done. 2)Every time you want to look at your timers you have to refresh the timers on the screen. It would be fantastic if you could just open the app and see your timers without the extra step. I would think that both of these could be achieved with a software update.

I normally don't leave a review. I feel I owe it it to Intermatic and the company hired that designed the interface. The old one was wonky but worked fine. But the new one is one of the best interfaces I've ever used. The ease of going to scheduling and saving to the HELP section. It is amazing. Everything is laid out in a logical order. The flow from page to page is with ease. I haven't programed a new device yet but it recognized my environment immediately without any trouble or effort . I will be adding new ones soon . I will update review if any discoveries need to be added. Using a iPad 1st Gen M2 so far , I have many devices to try it on. I use this app to control wall switches that control outdoor security lamps, I can tailor for bad weather, clouds, time change etc. I only mess around to have light on when it 's expected to be dark or cloudy. This allows me to tailor the lights for my wife's, well lit walk in and out of our home. Intermatic, please try to develop an app for AppleTV and Mac. Have tried other companies , this is the best!!!!!
