Stress Autism Mate junior

Are you a young person with autism? Do you sometimes experience stress? This app can help!

SAM Junior was created from the need of young people, parents and care providers to gain more insight into perceived stress and how to deal with it. It also helps the user to see which things are going well or not so well. SAM junior can also help you prepare for future stressful events. The app is scientifically substantiated and was created by GGz Centraal for and by young people between the ages of 12 and 18 with an autism spectrum disorder. The app was developed in collaboration with the research organization TNO. With SAM junior you can: • Determine your current stress level using a questionnaire (SAM junior uses a scientifically validated algorithm for this) • Get an idea of times of the day and daily activities that go well and those that go less well • Get tips to reduce your stress at any time of the day • Enter your own tips or try those of others • Use the journal to write down your thoughts and feelings • Discuss your weekly overview of stress levels with a friend, loved one or practitioner (only if you want to, you are in control) SAM junior, against the stress of today and tomorrow.
