Air Pet’s app is easy to use and data-rich, with useful automation and stats, but its value is repeatedly undermined by connectivity failures, 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi restrictions, login issues, weak support, and occasional data inaccuracies. When connected, it delivers the expected features; however, ongoing reliability problems deter consistent use.

Recent reviews

The app identifies individual cats by their weight. If two cats weigh the same it can’t distinguish them. Also, if you try to change one toilet instance from one of those cats to the other it changes all instances to the same cat. So the app designers believe that no one owns two cats that weigh the same.

Easy to fully clean and dump bin. It can get a smell. After fully cleaning, I use a little cat enzyme spray and then wipe off with a clean wet microfiber cloth. It does drop from my app sometimes. The cat weight won’t register correctly when she urinates because she will prop her front legs on the rim. Other than that it’s been great for us. We have owned it for about 4 years with no issues.

This app works well with my new Meowant litter box for my 4 indoor cats. I am able to tell which cats are regularly using the litter box. I like that I can use the app remotely to clean the litter box or level the litter. The only feature the app doesn’t offer is the ability to delete the no -useful device actions it records in the “Cat” usage. I clean the canister once a day and sometimes I level the litter and I wish I could delete those instances from the log because it tries to assign it to a cat every time. Maybe in a future upgrade?
