Digital Log-books

Digital Log-books for Lifts and Escalators, developed by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), digitizes lift/escalator works records, replacing traditional paper log-books. It enables the responsible persons, trades, and government to record, manage, and analyze data in real time, supporting coordinated monitoring and safer, more efficient maintenance.

Key features include blockchain-based storage to ensure transparency and authenticity; secure login via iAM Smart or biometric authentication; quick access by scanning the Use Permit's QR code; and the ability to capture and attach photos of components. It provides easy search and graphical views of tasks, plus smart notifications to remind users of statutory and important deadlines. Note: data transmission fees may be incurred when using the mobile app.
