ok. so the remote has a feature where you can set the bottom or top of the range (depending on heating or cooling.) set the cool temperature and press and hold twice. when you get three beeps you have set the bottom of the range for cooling. the app only has the other end of the temperature range. no where does it explain this. i stumbled on a youtube app that explained it. the company does a terrible job explaining this.

There is no option for how much the auto-feeder releases into the tank. We have the 2-gallon with one Betta. It should not be fed more than 5-7 pellets per day. It just release over 50 food pellets at once. This will kill the fish if we have to travel and can’t monitor how much it releases. We bought this because we do travel. Now either we don’t feed the fish while we’re gone or we contaminate the tank! Huge failure within the tank design and phone app to control it! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PURCHASE!
