User Reviews

Cat Quest II is praised for its charming visuals, accessible gameplay, and controller-friendly experience, with strong value and rich side quests that tie into Cat Quest I. Common drawbacks include control quirks, occasional save-data bugs, and a frequent wish for multiplayer or co-op features.
Pros
  • Charming visuals and a cute, cohesive world with engaging side quests and strong continuity with Cat Quest I.
  • Excellent controller/gamepad support and co-op options, including on iPhone; great for playing with others.
  • Kid-friendly and easy to pick up, while still delivering depth for more experienced players.
  • Excellent value with a flat price, no subscription, and full game content.
  • Packed with content and features, offering hours of play and replayability.
Cons
  • Control and input issues: rolling vs attacking can be misregistered, plus drag-to-move and awkward button mappings.
  • Save data problems: risk of losing progress or save slots and occasional bugs.
  • Lack of multiplayer: many players want online or local co-op to play together.

The way to move and attack is purely directional- any pve game where you have to tap on the floor to move there don't deserve great ratings.. just add a movement joystick on the left half of the screen and an attack joystick on the right. Anyway, I beat the game fairly easily- the fights are repetitive and you can just keep your distance while using magic attacks and you'll never get hit. Ran out of main quest content after about 3 days of playing for a few hours each day, so there's not much else to explore or do

I absolutely love this game, I’ve beaten this 2 times and have 6 out of 9 achievements, this is a fine game as it is!
