HearO enables remote monitoring of heart failure patients under physician supervision

HearO a Cordio App This mobile application, deployed on a mobile platform, communicates with a web-based portal, enabling healthcare practitioners (HCPs) to manage their patients. The Cordio HearO is a software device that is intended for use by qualified healthcare practitioner (HCPs) and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients, under the supervision of an HCP, in the home environment, for the recording, storage, transmission, display and analysis of a predefined set of voice utterances. The Cordio HearO analyzes these utterances to detect changes in the patient’s recorded voice relative to their own baseline and to direct the healthcare practitioner’s attention to remotely monitored CHF patients who may be at an increased risk for HF events indicative of deterioration, such as hospitalization. The Cordio HearO does not provide any diagnostic information, and its results are not intended to be used as a stand-alone basis for clinical decision-making.
