User Reviews

User reviews show mixed experiences: many users find the McGraw Hill K-12 Portal helpful for homework and math learning, and some praise the app as amazing. However, recurring problems overshadow positives: frequent bugs and crashes, incomplete content and missing resources (especially teacher tools and course availability), login and account access issues including soft-locks, and device/platform compatibility problems (Google sign-in inconsistencies, Safari compatibility, Apple Pencil not working). A few mention outdated content. Overall, educational value is recognized, but reliability and completeness are the major drawbacks that degrade the user experience.
Pros
  • Helps with homework and learning, including math.
  • Positive overall sentiment: users frequently describe the app as amazing or great.
  • Engaging features such as educational games after school.
Cons
  • Stability and bugs causing crashes and unreliable behavior.
  • Content/resources gaps: missing teacher resources and limited/course availability.
  • Login/access problems and soft-locks across devices (sign-in issues).
  • Platform compatibility and hardware issues (Google sign-in inconsistencies, Safari problems, Apple Pencil not working).
