User Reviews

Usagi Shima is a charming, cozy bunny island sim praised for its cute art, relaxing vibe, and low-pressure gameplay. Players love the adorable bunnies, island customization, and the absence of heavy ads, plus the sense of care from a solo developer who provides regular updates. However, critics note that the endgame can feel finite and repetitive once all content is unlocked, with limited free island space and a desire for more bunny varieties. The game also trails behind on lively bunny animation and slower carrot progression, which can require patience or paid options for expansion.
Pros
  • Cozy, calming vibe with cute, hand-drawn art and relaxing music that makes the game pleasant to visit
  • Adorable bunnies with distinct personalities and satisfying island customization/decoration
  • Low-pressure, non-intrusive experience with minimal ads (ads are not intrusive or optional)
  • Made by a passionate solo developer with visible care and ongoing, small monthly updates
  • Not pay-to-win and-friendly to free-to-play players, with optional paid content like island expansion
Cons
  • Endgame can feel finite and repetitive after unlocking all content
  • Limited island space; space is a constraint and expansion is paid, limiting creativity for some players
  • Bunnies often stay in one place; players desire more movement/ animation around the island
  • Golden carrots / resource progression can feel slow or require paying or ads to speed up
  • Pacing can be slow and some players will want more new content or updates to keep long-term engagement

I LOVE this game!!! it is SO cute! I can’t believe u made this yourself!!! It’s unbelievable! I have 1 thing though… prices. I love all the decorations and everything but the prices… I bought something for $100 (or carrots) but then I didn’t want it anymore because I didn’t realize the size. so I wanted to sell it but it was 50 bucks!!!(or carrots) so I love love love this game, but I would love it even more (if that’s possible) if you lower some prices and make some prices higher. Thx!
