Hoto products have great hardware design. I do not see why we have to register on the app and agree to privacy policies if we just want to change settings on our Hoto tool. In my case, I wanted to adjust the settings on the laser measuring tool. Upon registering, the app requests access to WiFi, Home, and more. All this to just change the units of measurement for my laser? Then, when it comes time to pair with the device, it just flat out doesn’t work. So all this work for nothing. Stick to hardware, Hoto, your software and UX needs a lot of work.
