User Reviews
Pros
- Visually impressive AR visuals and 3D elements.
- Immersive AR experience that you can walk around and view from different angles.
- Lightweight, easy to use, and quick to access.
- Family-friendly and magical, enjoyable for kids and families.
- Shows potential as a proof-of-concept for future AR experiences.
Cons
- AR is extremely short, often only one scene (about 30 seconds).
- AR feels like a glorified tech demo rather than a fully engaging experience.
- Age restrictions and gating block users (inconsistent age checks; not accessible for some kids).
- Technical issues: some users can't get it to work or experience glitches.
- Limited content; the app primarily serves as a short with minimal AR content.
Recent reviews
It was ok but there was only 1 scene and by looking by the other reviews and ratings it's not that good. If you are going to get the app I would not really recommend it because there is lots of other good games better than this one because I would rate this 2 stars out of 5.

I need to change my age on the game

After seeing a panel with the creators of this “experience“ at an industry event, I was really looking forward to watching this with my kids. I had been wondering why I hadn’t heard anything about it, as we are total Disney+ junkies, but I wonder no more. It’s really poorly executed. It’s too short. The dialogue is insufferable. The pint-size star— a non-actress and apparently the neighbor of the executive producer— can’t act and is generally annoying to watch. It doesn’t even look cinematic in any way. It was shot on a volume and it shows… and not in a good way. The LD & DP must both have also been the producer’s neighbors because there’s nothing at all believable about the environment.
All of this wouldn’t matter, though, if the AR bit was engaging in any way— this being a glorified tech demo and all— but it’s just not. For about 30 seconds, a waterfall comes out of your TV and empties into a pond, which at various times looked like it was on my floor or my ottoman depending on whether I stood up or not. This effect wasn’t particularly beautiful, it wasn’t interactive and it was incredibly, frustratingly brief. I feel like this film, and the AR gimmick within, were originally intended to be longer and the producers slashed it to bits after losing faith in the production team. I think that was probably a good decision. I mean… This thing has Brie Larson in it! How do you make Brie Larson unlikable? I’ll tell you how — you give her no direction, that’s how. What a waste. 🤦🏻♂️
