User Reviews

Users praise ReeXpose for its ease of use, RAW long-exposure output, and strong support, plus no-subscription pricing noted by several reviewers. However, multiple reviews flag hidden costs, stability and focus issues, laggy performance, and missing advanced features like bracketing and Bluetooth shutter control. Overall, it’s well-regarded for quality and usability, with calls for smoother reliability and more feature parity.
Pros
  • Very user-friendly, easy-to-use interface that makes long-exposure photography approachable.
  • Produces high-quality RAW long-exposure images with useful capabilities like focus peaking.
  • No ongoing subscription required (one-time purchase option), which many users appreciate.
  • Strong, responsive customer support that helps resolve issues quickly.
  • Helpful features such as saving shots to the Photos app and good performance for basic use.
Cons
  • Subscription upsell and unclear pricing upfront, with some users feeling misled about costs.
  • Stability and reliability issues, including crashes and errors when saving photos.
  • Focus problems in certain scenarios (difficulty focusing close, inconsistent focus, and requests for improved focus controls).
  • Performance lag and slow transitions between camera modes or photos, plus questions about true long-exposure behavior (stacking vs. single long exposure).
  • Missing advanced features vs. competitors (no bracketing, no Bluetooth remote shutter control) and occasional device compatibility limitations (e.g., limited lens support).

Says in app purchases which I suppose is true, except you can’t get into the app without buying a subscription plan. I don’t pay for apps I can’t test. I don’t like apps that indicate you can use them then require purchase to use them. If they are willing to do shady business, then I will find one that doesn’t. If the creators read this, be transparent on costs, don’t lure people in then have a pay wall. Not cool.

Seems interesting but a monthly subscription is required and you would not know about it until after you spend internet time downloading and installing the app.

I understand that apps need upkeep to keep the app running smoothly and free of bugs. But here's the thing. I was excited (and I was genuinely excited) to download this camera, but was quickly disappointed when finding out I needed an account/subscription and payment required to use the camera and app's description mentions nothing about this.
