User Reviews

Users repeatedly report NumberBarn as unreliable on iOS: frequent login failures, missing notifications, and inconsistent audio during calls. Texting often doesn’t work, drafts disappear, and the app can be slow or crash. The main positives are affordable pricing and the value of a parked/ported number with core calling/texting capabilities when the app is functional.

Pros

Affordable pricing/value comparing favorably with other services
Parked/ported number feature (Park plan) enables usage of a dedicated number
Core calling/texting/voicemail functionality available when the app is functioning

Cons

Frequent login issues and the app failing to log in or load
Notifications do not reliably arrive (text/call alerts, badges), leading to missed messages
Poor call quality and reliability (no audio, dropped calls, VOIP issues)
Texting bugs (inability to send texts, no new conversations, drafts erased)
General app instability (slow performance, crashes, need to reinstall)

Recent reviews

I have been using number barn for three years now, somewhat begrudgingly because I live internationally. But the updates to the app are incredible. It works so much better! It will allow me to stay in better contact with people. Thank you.

I wrote to support about the app taking forever to load and they recently updated things. This update was a game changer! Now it opens very quickly, and I can easily see who has called and what text messages I received. Exactly the functionality I was looking for really grateful for the Support and Dev teams.
