AdaptCare

AdaptCare, an application built to save lives, provides essential point of care information at the fingertips of first responders. The application tightly integrates with hospital EMRs to provide important lifesaving information “just in time” to EMTs, firefighters, and other personnel who are not credentialed at the hospital. This is done by scanning the QR code that exists with the patient, either on their wristband or stickers provided by the hospital. In addition to the PAMI information, the first responders can also find out if the patient is deaf, blind, reactive to light, noise or touch, or has any other special needs so they can be sensitive to the situation without having a family member or guardian necessarily around.
