User Reviews

Users praise Akiflow for strong onboarding, helpful AI assistant Aki, and a unified, intuitive space for tasks and calendars, with time-blocking features that align work and time. However many cite high cost, subpar mobile experience, occasional bugs and unstable integrations, and billing/refund frustrations as recurring downsides. Overall, it's a powerful productivity hub that excels in setup and automation but can be pricey and wrangle mobile reliability and billing.
Pros
  • Excellent onboarding and personalized support, especially via Cecile.
  • Powerful AI assistant (Aki) that feels human and helps reorganize tasks.
  • All-in-one dashboard that unifies tasks and calendars across apps.
  • Effective time-blocking features with dynamic budgeting of tasks in blocks.
  • Intuitive setup that adapts to my workflow and is quick to adopt.
Cons
  • Very expensive annual/subscription price with perceived value and pricing confusion.
  • Mobile app lags behind desktop: limited functionality, onboarding not available on mobile, and some UI issues.
  • Reliability issues and bugs: email syncing problems, duplicate reminders, and unstable calendar integrations.
  • Billing and refunds: reports of refunds being denied or disputed, and odd PayPal charges/cancellation timing pitfalls.

I’d stopped using this app about a year ago when I started a new job. I thought I’d canceled, apparently not. It took me about a week to notice the charge because I was traveling, and when I tried to get a refund they refused, despite the fact that I’d not used this app for a year. It’s really hard for me to respect a business that needs every bit of revenue so badly that they’re banking on people not catching the renewal notification. Now I’m out nearly $200, and for what? An app I don’t even use. Awesome. Do better, Akiflow. If you’re considering this app, I’m telling you there are better options by businesses with more integrity.

Sounds like a decent program if you’re in front of your computer all day. Doesn’t look like it’s set up well for Mobile. In fact you can’t even open an account from a mobile device Have these guys not noticed the number of iPads being sold versus the number of desktops and laptops. And for $250-$500 a year it better be great, but I’ll never know because I’m a real estate developer that spends my time in the field. I need great Software, but I’m not going carry around a laptop when I can work off of an iPad for everything else. The M5chip is amazing and with 2 TB of storage I can do anything on it (almost) that I could do on a laptop.

I had great hopes for this app but ended up spending the majority of my time working out bugs with email syncing and default reminders duplicating. Still a lot of manual. I stopped using it half through the year. Thought I had cancelled it then the day I say the renewal of $228 hit my bank I messaged and requested a refund and they said they don’t have to refund legally so no even though I explained to them I was going to go negative on my rent.
