User Reviews

Reviewers repeatedly praise Nject as a practical toxin-dosing calculator and teaching aid, with positive feedback when the app functions and updates restore missing syringes like the 0.5 mL Unitox. However, multiple users report recurring problems: syringe options failing to populate, incorrect syringe imagery, limited toxin coverage (no Dysport/Botox), and crashes or instability after updates. Semaglutide ads and onboarding issues further disrupt use. Overall, it's valuable when reliable data and performance are present, but data completeness, accuracy, and stability require attention.
Pros
  • Practical toxin-dosing calculator that’s useful for toxin dosing planning and syringe-based calculations.
  • When functioning well, it serves as a valuable tool for changing syringes and planning dilutions.
  • Responsive developer updates and support (e.g., restoring the 0.5 mL Unitox syringe).
  • Helpful for teaching/training and is recommended to students.
Cons
  • Syringe options frequently fail to populate or are unavailable (empty dropdowns, no data).
  • Syringe visuals and labeling are sometimes incorrect (e.g., insulin syringe image).
  • Stability issues: crashes on startup or when selecting a syringe; app force closes after updates.
  • Limited toxin coverage (no Dysport/Botox) and focus on Semaglutide; other injectables poorly supported.
  • Semaglutide ads/overlay hinder workflow and onboarding can be confusing.
Recent reviews
I used to use this app often for tox calculations. So many changes have been made, it no longer does that. Have deleted, reloaded, updated. It no longer works !

**Update! This was quickly added :) thanks!!** I really like this app, but I would love to be able to enter the number of units for a tox and have it show exactly where to pull that on the syringe. For example: if I use a 1.2mL dilution for Daxxi, and want to pull 14 units, where is that line on the syringe? Thanks!
