User Reviews

Users praise 7Charge for its fast, simple, and private charging experience with quick activation and helpful notifications. However, repeated concerns include high pricing, charging speeds not meeting advertised claims, and a notable $40 card authorization hold. Overall, the app is seen as easy and convenient, but cost and performance concerns recur across reviews.

Pros

Fast and easy charging process with quick activation; the app connects to the car swiftly.
No account required; users can pay and charge without sharing personal information.
Notifications and immediate activation improve reliability and user awareness.
Simple, user-friendly app design that is easy to navigate and use.

Cons

High pricing/expensive charging overall.
Actual charging speeds often do not meet the advertised rates (under-delivers vs claimed 180 kW).
Upfront payment authorization can place a $40 hold on the card.

Recent reviews

7 payment holds (@$40 ea)…SEVEN. Had to switch kiosks and when I asked the employee he acted like he didn’t even know they had chargers. 7-11 fix the chargers and train up your people please. If I wanted to spend $200++ before filling up I would drive my ICE.
