I just download the app and I request assistant from the police since there is always some neighbors who invite people from other cities and they start making their laud not caring for others I don’t know if the app works I just receive a message that my request was receive and nothing else so I don’t know where is the dispatch that every talks about.

Tonight I heard some shots fired in my neighborhood. Instead of calling 9-1-1, I emphasize (which is still always recommended.) I was immediately connected with a dispatcher who spoke both English and Spanish, the app used my location to direct first responders directly to my GPS coordinates. Officers responded within 3 minutes, I am not even joking, two patrol units Policía Municipal (4 officers) showed up, one officer who spoke English and Spanish communicated with the other patrol units after taking my statement and while one officer stayed to take my statement the other two officers began investigating the potential area of distress. (Keep in mind this was a 10 minute interaction so far) The officers who took my statement then left to investigate further. I heard a siren and an air horn and assumed it was for me to come outside, as I opened my door I saw a blockade of 2 marked patrol cars, one unmarked vehicle and guardia nacional, stopping and questioning potential witnesses and suspects. I am very impressed with the response from both the dispatcher’s and law enforcement. All parties maintained control of the situation in a calming yet professional manner, I am definitely thankful to have discovered this app. I hope I don’t have to, but if needed I will definitely use this app again. -Tijuana, Baja California Mexico.
