Initially i downloaded this app solely to lhighlight the absurdity of a vpn app that doesn’t have its privacy policy accessible from the App Store. Out of curiosity for its aesthetic, i opened the app— the service isn’t available to anyone outside of some random panel (this is stated in the app description). Now more curious i skimned their site: “TrendBeat is software that measures your online behavior.” I have to know now- is this app for a paid study where participants are aware that this vpn does the exact opposite of any vpn? Or is this more nefarious?
