User Reviews

Pros: template-based journaling that's easy to use; trail-focused design that replaces paper journals; ability to import past journals and view stats; keeps a miles and daily trail journal on the device. Cons: saving glitches; no photo support; requests for export and analytics capabilities. Overall, great for thru-hikers needing a portable journal with stats, but fixes are needed for saves, photos, and export.
Pros
  • Template-based journaling that reduces data-entry effort
  • Thru-hiker focused design that replaces paper journals
  • Ability to import/transfer past journals and view stats
  • Keeps miles and daily trail journal accessible on the device
Cons
  • Saving issues (save button can be grayed out or data won't save until toggling a box)
  • No support for adding photos/pictures
  • Requests for an export feature (desire to export journals/data)

I used this app on the AZT with my iPhone SE, and found zero bugs. However I had to replace that phone with a 15 pro. I’m tbruhiking the CT and having some issues. The location showed for each entry in the list is the location for the first day, but is correct within the entry itself. And sometimes even though I have an entry fully filled out, it won’t save until I check and uncheck a box (like slept in a bed. )

If only it would let me add pics- would be willing to pay if it had that feature- switching to relive due to this- great product, but missing key feature

I haven’t used this on a thru hike yet but I transferred over my journals from one of my past thruhikes and it was awesome. Really fun to see the stats. My big request to the developer- add a “resupplied” tick box. Right now there’s slept in bed and took a shower which are great but I don’t always do those things when I go into town. It would be nice to see how often you’re resupplying.
