The trail does not require credit card or any up-front payment. Completely free for 34 days. After the trial you pay one time for lifetime access for offline use. Comes with 2 free years of multi-device data sync. After the 2 years your budget data does not sync between devices. Optional subscription for realtime multi-device data sync. More details below.

Optional Subscription Detail:

If you'd like to sync your data in real-time between devices 2 years after your lifetime purchase, an optional small subscription is available. It is only required if you wish to sync your data between devices. If you don't need that feature, never pay again.

Centsible has an optional one-year auto-renewable subscription
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

This is a great, much more affordable alternative to YNAB if you don’t need bank sync. (That YNAB feature never worked well for me with my banks) Centsible offers the ability to do “envelope” budgeting at a great price. Support is very helpful too!

The app has works well for me, a lot of the other apps have a monthly fee, and I’d rather have a lifetime license. Manually entering transactions can be tedious but monthly bills can be set to recurring. Personally having to enter transactions makes me physically see what is spend resulting in me spending less on things I don’t need.
