Users like the app for on-the-go practice, mobile exams, and easy video navigation, but flag recurrent issues: unstable video playback with missing controls, account and class access problems across platforms, poor customer support, frequent bugs, and perceived price/value misalignment. The core value—study on the go—remains strong when the app behaves, but reliability and support gaps limit its usefulness.

Pros

Convenient mobile practice and quick quizzes on the go.
Practice exams on iPhone are nice to use and review.
Video lectures are easy to navigate and jump between sections.
Secure sign-in with FaceID on iPhone.

Cons

Video playback/navigation issues: cannot seamlessly advance, frequent crashes, and freezing.
Subscription/account recognition and cross-device/class access problems in the app.
Poor or unhelpful customer support and lack of direct contact information.
General bugs and reliability problems (error messages, freezes).
Price increase not reflected by content quality or support.

Recent reviews

I’m disappointed with the current state of the UWorld RxPrep platform. Many of the video lectures appear outdated, with several seemingly dating back to around 2018. In addition, some lectures do not align well with the material in the book, which makes it frustrating to study when certain information mentioned in the videos is difficult to find in the text, or vice versa. Another issue is the lack of helpful customer support. When contacting the team about these concerns, the responses often feel repetitive and generic rather than directly addressing or resolving the problem. What’s most frustrating is that these issues were not present before RxPrep was integrated into UWorld. The price has increased significantly, yet the content and level of support do not seem to reflect that cost. For a platform at this price point, students deserve updated material and more responsive support.

The lectute video plays and you can’t seamlessly go to the next video. You have to rate the video or exit out. Then it crashes and I have to log back into the app. Very tedious and time consuming.
