Pretty good solution- they have hardware that sees under the snow on my roof- this sends to a computer that then activates their smart switches on or off. Seems to be saving a few hundred in the winter- and at least I can actually see if my existing heat tape is working. Like that they didn’t need to rip out my existing heat tape- this bolts on.

WARNING: They are charging my monthly fees for camera monitoring of my heat cables. I do not have a camera and never asked for this service - SCAM!!!

They associate with bad installation people that go out of business and the company takes no responsibility for poor installation. Money saved gets spent on fixing the problems.
