User Reviews

Isle of Arrows is praised for strategic depth, replayability, visuals, and a no-microtransactions model. However, multiple reviews cite RNG-driven difficulty, balance problems with random lanes, monetization concerns, and a lack of new content/updates. Overall, it’s a creative, engaging TD title with notable caveats around randomness and pacing.
Pros
  • Deep strategic depth from blending deck-building, randomized board tiles, and tower defense.
  • High replayability and variety due to random cards/tiles and multiple layouts.
  • Stunning visuals and distinctive art direction.
  • No microtransactions and solid value for the paid game.
  • Podcast/long-travel friendly; great for playing while listening to podcasts or during flights.
Cons
  • RNG-driven design leads to frequent unwinnable rounds or highly inconsistent difficulty across runs.
  • Balance is hindered by randomly added lanes, making defense tougher when you don’t have the right tools.
  • Perceived monetization issues: pay-to-advance feel and grinding that can throttle progress.
  • Content/updates have been sparse, with only a few levels and little new content for a long time.

I never leave reviews but I put in so much time on this game

It’s a very fun casual game and I have completed all campaign levels. But when I’m trying to complete all challenge levels, the mechanism made it impossible to do so. I don’t know if the developer has passed all of them yet but like others've said it’s too random. I think at the least of the overall number of towers should have a minimum, sometimes it seems like the game is straight out doesn’t want you to win.
