User Reviews

Gamery is lauded for being easy to use, visually polished, and strong at importing and syncing across devices, with a handy random picker and event view. However, recurring issues include stability (crashes and at least one data-loss incident), inconsistent import/matching of titles (unmatched games), and pricing criticisms (subscription vs lifetime options). Other frequent notes point to missing features (web client, activity log, sharing/permalinks, export options) and challenges with very large libraries. Overall, it’s highly regarded for usability and depth, but reliability and feature gaps limit its appeal for some users.
Pros
  • Easy to use and well-optimized iOS-native UI.
  • Excellent import and cross-device syncing across platforms and libraries.
  • Visually appealing design with thumbnails, smooth animations, and tasteful UI.
  • Rich feature set including a random game picker and an upcoming events view.
  • Reasonable pricing options, including a lifetime/premiere purchase option.
Cons
  • Crashes and stability issues, including data loss after an update.
  • Unmatched/mismatched imports from Steam/GOG and spotty title matching.
  • Pricing concerns about ongoing subscription costs and desire for cheaper or lifetime option.
  • Missing features such as a web client, activity log, sharing links, and exporting data.
  • Performance problems with large collections and difficulty importing bigger libraries.

This is by far one of my most fav apps, I really like looking at all the game stats and using the neat features. But lately every time I open the app, I have to make the “Sync Failed” pop-up go away at least 10 times, and it’s always a wall of text repeatedly saying the same thing. It’d be fine if it just appeared once, but it’s getting kind of frustrating. If you could find a way to fix it that’d be cool :)

Almost perfect. The only additions needed are the icons for classic games, the ability to mark what state one's physical ownership is in (CIB, Loose), number of copies owned, the ability to mark physical or digital ownership, and maybe a logo recognition option to add carts faster. Aside from that, this is intuitive, full of features, and connecting to one's libraries is fantastic.
