User Reviews

Players praise Cmd C for its deep, long-term idle mechanics, chapter variety, and ongoing updates, but multiple reviews point to persistent issues: slow pacing and balancing across chapters, unreliable saves and data loss, and a slew of bugs and UI/UX problems that hinder play. The game remains engaging for many, with responsive development and content expansion, but stability and polish improvements are repeatedly requested.
Pros
  • Deep, long-term idle progression with multi-chapter mechanics and escalating automation keeps players engaged for years.
  • Ongoing updates and patches, with new chapters, balance tweaks, and responsive fixes based on community feedback.
  • Strong core gameplay and variety across chapters, delivering a satisfying idle experience that many compare favorably to classic titles.
  • Relatively restrained monetization and a generally fair balance compared with other idle games.
  • Polished visuals and steady development that show the game is well-supported.
Cons
  • Pacing and balance issues across chapters, leading to slow progress and frustrating prestige costs.
  • Saving and data persistence problems, including progress loss and no reliable manual save option.
  • A range of critical bugs that disrupt gameplay (reset bugs, white-screen loads, editor glitches).
  • UI/UX readability problems after updates (difficulty seeing upgrade prices, scroll-to-top issues).
  • Content updates sometimes feel under-tested or delayed, with patches that re-balance rather than fix underlying issues.

Glitch where if you reset your entire progress but didn’t change the difficulty on levels the level will start out normal you’ll return and the difficulty is applied and you get hard locked from progressing. Please fix I love this game but this oversight of a bug is just dumbfounded. I just wanted to play it all over again and now I’m stuck to repeating level 1 till you fix this in however many months. Also add a bug report feature in the future so I don’t have to leave reviews

This idle game is torture. It’s pure agony in functionality. The build up to automation, in what I’m assuming is later chapters after playing for years, is excruciating. Yet there it is, I have been playing for years. Not many idle games get that from me, there’s only been Antimatter Dimensions and the original Cookie Clicker. By proxy, and the gratification of figuring out the systems in each chapter, Cmd C has earned its review and rating and was long overdue.

Hello, please fix the issue where the stupid game scrolls you to the top every time you scroll past the settings button. I've been waiting for the last 2 updates for this to be fixed. I did purchase the overclock thing. If this is something that helps sighted people then please make an option to turn it off.
