Features & Capabilities

Global Interview is a simple alert tool for Global Entry interviews. Select nearby locations, enable alerts, and receive push notifications when a slot matches your constraints. The extension does not log in or access your Global Entry account, and it does not book appointments.

How it works: you own your booking—use the notifications to act quickly at busy locations, where openings disappear fast. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency; Global Entry is a DHS trademark.

User Reviews

Global Interview is praised for fast, affordable appointment alerts that help users snag openings quickly, especially in high-demand areas. The $5 one-time price and simple UI are strong positives. However, reliability can vary, with some alerts or openings not appearing in the app, and you must book on the government site immediately after receiving a notification. Despite not being perfect, it remains a cost-effective tool for those who are willing to act fast and coordinate for multiple locations or family members.
Pros
  • Fast, timely notifications that frequently lead to actual appointments (often same-day or next-day).
  • Very cost-effective: a single $5 purchase beats higher fees from other services.
  • Simple, clutter-free UI with no ads or invasive permissions.
  • Effective across locations and for multiple people (can monitor different airports and help a family schedule).
  • Helpful in high-demand airports where openings are scarce and can surface opportunities quickly.
Cons
  • Not 100% reliable: some users report missed or delayed alerts and openings not appearing in the app.
  • No in-app booking: you must go to the government portal to reserve the appointment, which adds risk under time pressure.
  • Alerts require immediate action and you often must be logged into the official site to grab slots, as they can disappear within minutes.
  • Occasional inconsistencies in performance or updates across devices, leading to intermittent reliability.

I’ve been trying to get an interview at a specific airport for MONTHS. I finally was about to buy a plane ticket to travel to ATL (a few states away) as that was the only place that had openings. I decided to give this app a try and OMG it notified me later THAT DAY of an appointment in my home city in just a few days.! I had already checked on my own that morning and nothing was available so would not have checked again. Thank you to whomever had this brilliant plan.

I decided to give this app a try after reading mixed reviews. I downloaded it and within 24 hours was able to book an appointment. It saved me from having to buy a flight just to get an appointment.

I purchased the app and after a few days of nothing, randomly logged into the CBP website and an appointment was available (but wasn’t doable for us). I refreshed the app and it never showed up. Once that time passed, another appointment came up on the CBP website for three days in the future. It never showed up on the app. It never worked for me and was a waste.
