I use this app all the time and recommend it to people. I just updated it. April 7, 2026. And now there are ads at the bottom of the app, which is just absolutely terrible. I would pay a nominal fee, not to have the ads.

It is currently 2045 hours (8:45pm) PST on Saturday March 7, 2026. Tomorrow, Sunday March 8 at 0200 hours (2am), California changes from PST to PDT and the clocks jump one hour ahead. Savvy time shows the current time in Taiwan, a country that’s currently 16 hours ahead of PST, as 1345 hours (1:45pm). Taiwan does not change their clocks between summer and winter. Since it’s currently 2045 hours PST in California, and Taiwan is 16 hours ahead of California, the time in Taiwan is 1245 hours (12:45pm) not 1345 (1:45pm). 1:45pm would be 17 hours ahead of PST. Savvy Time has miscalculated the time difference. Savvy Time wouldn’t even have been correct at the same time tomorrow after the clocks in California had changed!
