User Reviews

Overall, reviews are strongly negative. The top complaints are ongoing charges after cancellation (often around $49.99/year), difficulty obtaining refunds, and trials that auto-renew. Users report verification codes frequently failing or being invalid, locking them out of accounts across services (Roblox, Snapchat, PayPal, PlayStation). The app is described as confusing and hard to use with poor guidance. Some regard it as a scam or risk to privacy; only a rare note that it works for some accounts briefly, but reliability is low.
Pros
  • Very fast and secure.
Cons
  • Recurring subscription charges after cancellation, with reports of being billed despite canceling and refunds denied or difficult.
  • Codes often fail to generate or verify (invalid codes, 'something went wrong', logins blocked) across multiple services.
  • Hard to use and confusing interface with poor guidance and disconnect between instructions and behavior.
  • Perceived scams or misleading pricing (free trials leading to yearly charges) and requests to pay for essential features like 3-password limit.
  • Support issues: slow or unresponsive refunds and cancellation handling.

I wasn’t aware that this app was taking $10 out of my account weekly just to use, tried to find a way to cancel that but couldn’t find anything. This isn’t the correct Authenticator app if you are planning on using it for school .
