User Reviews

Users praise the app for its read-aloud feature, easy access to Jubilees, Jasher, and Enoch, and helpful highlighting and progress tracking. Key criticisms focus on the TTS voice quality, occasional navigation difficulties, and a search function that sometimes fails to include the main three books, with a call for more modern English translations.

Pros

Text-to-speech reading of the included books, making it easy to listen and take notes.
Free to use with unobtrusive ads and overall ease of use.
Easy to mark where you left off and use highlighting to track progress.
Includes Jubilees, Jasher, and Enoch, offering non-canonical texts in one app.
Pleasant reading experience with visuals and note-taking support.

Cons

Poor or monotonous TTS voice; users want a more natural voice and the option to listen in the background.
Navigation through the books can be awkward or difficult for some readers.
Search function sometimes excludes the main three books (Jubilees, Jasher, Enoch) and needs an update.
Some users feel the translation language could be more modern.

Recent reviews

This app has all of the books of the apocrypha. The only issue I’m having is the audio not coming through when I’m screen mirroring the app to my big screen TV. I wish that worked right. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.
