User Reviews

User feedback highlights the app’s worth for on-the-fly Bluetooth adjustments and MOZA ecosystem integration, but is heavily marred by login/registration failures, regional/phone verification blocks, and recurring hardware calibration issues. iOS-specific UI glitches and inconsistent support further dampen reliability. While some users experience smooth operation, cross-device consistency and timely fixes remain major concerns.
Pros
  • On-the-fly Bluetooth adjustments for MOZA hardware.
  • Settings can be adjusted without a PC, aiding quick tuning.
  • Strong integration with MOZA product ecosystem for cohesive configuration.
  • Some users report flawless operation and ease of use when the app functions as intended.
Cons
  • Frequent login/registration problems: cannot create or log into accounts, verification emails not delivered, and region/phone number issues.
  • Hardware connectivity and calibration problems: wheel signal not detected, recenter/calibrate not working, throttle calibration issues, and wheelbase resets that disrupt setups.
  • Regional/phone-number restrictions: limited region options (often China), inability to change country code, and phone-number verification bottlenecks.
  • UI/UX glitches on iOS devices: issues like inability to check the login agreement, black/blank screens, and certain buttons not responding.
  • Support and bug-fix delays: ongoing issues despite updates, with some references to non-helpful support links and slow resolution.

Honestly just don’t even download it. The second you hit the wrong button in the app your wheel will be bricked if you don’t have a windows PC. Really can’t tell you to stay away enough. I just bought an R3 for $400 that will probably find its way to the trash after sitting in the closet for 5 or 6 years. Please just don’t even bother.

After setting up an account with Moza, as is necessary to use their software on PC, I downloaded their mobile app to make quick adjustments without needing to Alt+Tab out of a game. Upon submitting my login info and trying to use the application, the app tells me that it requires precise GPS location in order to function. There is absolutely no reason an app for adjusting sim racing peripherals needs an accurate GPS location to function, unless it is collecting user data for purposes outside the scope of the software. (i.e. location targeted ads, spyware, CCP surveillance, who knows?) If the app needs a region for language/product localization, that’s fine, and it can be done by selecting region and language from a list just as other software has for literal decades. Uninstalled and won’t use it unless Moza can give a valid reason for why they need to know (to within a couple feet of accuracy!) where a customer is using their app. And if it is just a matter of data collection for advertising, why are users being monetized after they purchase premium hardware? It’s not like the hardware that uses this software is given away for free. You can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a high-end setup from Moza, and then still have your data collected just so they can still make a few extra nickels on the side? I find it somewhat telling that the link to their privacy policy page on the App Store returns a 404.

1. If you reside in the USA, you must register with your email! Phone registration is not supported in the USA. 2. Use your phone! The screen formatting does not work on the iPad! You will not be able to check the user agreement. 3. Do ALL of your initial setup with a PC FIRST, using the Moza Pit House app. 4. Be sure to update the firmware BEFORE doing anything else. 5. Do all of your initial setup, calibration and checks in Pit House. Everything is retained in the Base and will show up in the app when you log in. 6. Once in game, use the wheel for navigation and DO NOT TOUCH your controllers. If you try to use both the controller takes over and you have to recalibrate everything in the wheel all over again! I can’t stress this enough! I hope this helps. I have not had any issues of any kind other than figuring out the differences between the layout of this app and how the PC version is set up.
