However, the app is repeatedly criticized for reliability and usability problems. Frequent Bluetooth disconnects and inconsistent workout logging make data hard to trust. The UI is cluttered and buggy, with crashes, freezes, and navigation issues. Ads, pop-ups, and aggressive notifications degrade the experience, and account/privacy hurdles—such as forced login or slow deletion—add frustration. A minority still finds value in early use and in comparing PitPat favorably to other apps.

How complicated and unhelpful. first review ever just to say they insist on taking over control of the speed. Update: btw if you turn off bluetooth youll get a notice every minute that pitpat needs bluetooth. completely not using the app and getting hundreds of alerts.

Don’t use this app- it’s so dumb. Every time I walk on it during work (I purchased to put her my desk) after I’m done the app says it detects cheating and invalidates my session. I’m certainly not cheating and walking on the treadmill the whole time.
