Ads, pop-ups, and aggressive notifications degrade the experience, and account/privacy hurdles—such as forced login or slow deletion—add frustration. This is the dumbest idea I’ve seen. I just want to use my treadmill in peace whenever I want to. Instead, I have to download the dumb app to be able to use my treadmill and for whatever reason, PitPat automatically connects me to someone else’s microphone so I can hear them working out. Why on earth would I ever want to hear that. The app doesn’t even work well either, my treadmill won’t even start even though it says it’s connected. What a frustrating experience and a waste of time.

I installed the app in order to get the treadmill to begin working. The app design is terrible and you cannot opt out of the AI. The app is too busy and oh-so-unnecessary. I deleted it as soon as I could after connecting Bluetooth. Do better, yall. This looks like an app designed to entertain children.
