AutoBeacon

AutoBeacon App is an advanced Driving Behavior Monitoring App that measures your driving behavior using Sensor data and scores each of your trip on various safe driving driving parameters. Main objective of AutoBeacon App is to help drivers rate their driving behavior and progressively become safer drivers.

AutoBeacon App measures each trip on rash or unsafe driving parameters including Overspeeding, Sudden Braking, Sudden Acceleration, Fast Cornering and Distracted Driving. These parameters are individually rated as well as a consolidated Safe Driving Score is generated. Apart from Driving behavior, AutoBeacon App measures the driving distance and driving time for each trip.

AutoBeacon's Home screen shows your consolidated Safe Driving Score (out of 100). It also shows summary of your recent trips. Tapping on the Location Icon shows for any trip shows the exact route of the trip, the location and severity of various Driving alerts. AutoBeacon's "All Trips" screen shows the log of your historical trips organized by each day. Tapping on any particular trip shows the Trip summary for that trip. Driving Score trend screen shows you the weekly trend of your Safe Driving score and its constituent scores.

AutoBeacon App uses Driver's Smartphone sensor data (including GPS, Acceleromter and Gyroscope) while driving to analyze the driving behavior.

AutoBeacon automatically detects when the User has started driving. Please ensure that your phone's GPS is ON while driving. AutoBeacon detects when a drive has ended and analyzes collected data within the App to generate the Trip summary, Driving Alerts and Safe Driving scores.

For AutoBeacon to run seamlessly without user’s intervention, Users need to enable certain settings so that AutoBeacon is allowed to run in background. Please see the advised phone settings from the FAQ section inside the App and provide the necessary permissions.

Besides end users such as Car owners and Fleet owners, AutoBeacon App is especially useful for Auto Insurance companies to offer Usage Based Insurance including Pay-as-you-drive (PAYD) and Pay-how-you-drive (PHYD) and other Telematics based Services to its customers.
