Users praise Tacodeli for its food quality, friendly staff, and overall dining experience. However, the iOS app suffers from recurring issues: slow performance, cart/checkout glitches, unreliable payments and lack of Apple Pay/autofill, loyalty rewards problems, and location/drive-thru order flow limitations. Tipping prompts for takeout also appear to be a point of contention. Addressing payment reliability, rewards management, and cart stability, while preserving the menu quality and ordering ease, would markedly improve the app experience.

Frequent app performance and checkout issues (slow load times, cart expirations, and checkout loops).
Payment problems: card payments not submitting, cards not accepted, and lack of Apple Pay/autofill.
Loyalty/rewards problems: points expiring or being hard to redeem.
Order flow/location issues: difficulty selecting the desired location, drive-thru constraints, and occasional missing items.
Automatic tipping on to-go orders or high tipping prompts.

Recent reviews

Rejects new credit cards for no reason. You just a generic error that doesn't explain. Then you have to dumpster dive into the developer's website where they explain in tiny font that not all Mastercards, Visas, and no Discover cards are accepted. Can't use Apple Pay. It's absolutely the worst experience. At the end of the day, I could NOT complete a purchase transaction through the app and there's nothing that can be done. This app had one job, and failed.
