User Reviews

Users praise ReciMe for centralizing recipes from many sources into organized cookbooks, easy import, a clean, user-friendly interface, and a strong grocery list plus meal-planning features. However, repeated concerns include a confusing, paywalled pricing model (trial traps and auto-renewals), limits on saved recipes and other features behind subscriptions, reliability issues with syncing across devices and with certain imports, occasional inaccuracies in ingredients or measurements, and difficult-to-reach customer support. Overall, the app is valued for organization and planning, but many users feel the cost model and reliability problems dampen the experience.
Pros
  • All-in-one recipe hub: centralizes recipes from many sources and keeps them organized in cookbooks.
  • Easy import from websites and social content; editing and organizing is intuitive.
  • User-friendly interface with simple editing; no ads clutter.
  • Built-in grocery list that automatically builds from recipes.
  • Meal planning feature that helps plan weekly meals.
Cons
  • Pricing and subscription model is confusing and costly; frequent mentions of 7-day free trial that converts to paid; requests for lifetime ownership.
  • Accounts limited by storage/recipe caps behind subscriptions; users report being able to upload only a small number of recipes.
  • Sync and data reliability issues across devices; changes not syncing; some imports fail.
  • Data accuracy issues; ingredients and measurements sometimes wrong.
  • Poor or hard-to-reach customer support.

I paid for a subscription and still can’t access the features I paid for. There’s no customer service phone number. There is only an email, which they say there is a 24 hour response time for and I’ve been waiting a week after multiple emails. If you’re going to charge for something, you have to provide timely customer service when there is clearly an error on your end. Seems like it could be a great app. Very disappointing experience.

I have tried several recipe collectors across the board of social medias and online, and this has turned out to be the best. I’ve been using it for about six months and so glad I found it. Both the web version on my laptop and the app on my phone work great. It’s got lots of organizing features and is very user-friendly.
