User reviews repeatedly criticize Lemur Pro as unreliable. The most mentioned issues are frequent crashes, data loss or missing data, and GPS inaccuracies that undermine fieldwork. Performance is slow and loading times are long, with the app consuming substantial storage. Offline usability is limited, and no-cell service zones render it largely unusable for many users. A few comments acknowledge a promising concept and some progress toward stability, but the overwhelming sentiment is that the app remains disruptive and not production-ready.

Aside from the constant crashes, the lagging, the fact that this app is so large that it doesn’t allow for proper updates to the app itself, or for the phone to do an update unless we uninstall the app in its entirety and reinstall it on a regular basis this is beyond proper operation. They keep making updates, and they keep giving us more and more layers that we don’t use, causing more crashes and lagging, while completely ignoring the people who actually use the app screaming at the top of our lungs what we actually need. And then when we complain about this they say it’s “user error”. But when the entire industry is having the same issues it’s not user error it’s improper programing and maintenance.

I’ve used 4 similar apps over the course of my job, and this is by far the worst. Errors, crashes, lag, you name it. The switch to this program means it takes us approximately twice as long to do our job, which means it’s costing PGE (Pacific Gas and Electric) twice as much to run our program, which means the customers are eating it as rate increases. The only thing That annoys me more than this app is PGE’s decision to adopt it.

👏👏👏 so glad that your stake holders are happy. Screw the guys in the field I guess. There is nothing “fix” this application besides scrapping it. Maybe we should use an already functioning application…oh wait can’t micro manage as efficiently. If I did this bad a job at my job I would be fired and blacklisted.
