Users like the app’s editing features and the improved, intuitive design, but reliability is a major concern. Crashes during use or printing jeopardize work, and history/saved-label features often fail or hit a 100-label limit. Connectivity is unreliable across Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth, with no automatic reconnection. Printing wastes tape, and several requested features (AirPrint, templates, printer differentiation) are missing. Overall, the app offers useful capabilities, but stability and workflow reliability need urgent fixes.

Easy to use and intuitive interface after the redesign.
History feature exists and is helpful for reusing past labels.
Rich label editing capabilities (text, symbols, shapes, codes, tables, sequential numbers).
Bluetooth printing is supported and setup is relatively straightforward.
Redesigned UI with updated fonts and improved usability.

Cons

Frequent crashes and overall stability problems.
History and saved labels are unreliable, with a 100-label save limit that can cause data loss.
Connectivity issues: inconsistent Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connections and no auto-connect after power-on.
Tape is wasted during printing (about 1/2 inch per print) and this cannot be disabled.
UI/UX gaps and missing features (AirPrint compatibility, templates, and printer differentiation) and older interface feel.

The machine works well with the app. Most aspects require some tinkering but overall it is fairly intuitive. On Epson’s end, I’m hoping for periodic updates that include either new categories or a second set under certain names. (a Life 2 group, etc) I have not tried the computer based version yet. It will be interesting to see how it functions compared to the iPhone iOS one I am using.
