Audulus 4

That being said, I must somewhat agree with other reviewers in the sense that: I actually paid for this app when it launched, and also paid for its predecessor Audulus 3. Whilst I understand that modules being sold as IAP is honestly probably the way to go for a modular synth (can’t ask for everything without paying 🤷🏻‍♂️), I find it a bit annoying that some of us paid to essentially fund the development of what has now become a free app. I understand that every module that was on the released - paid for - version is still available to me, but I do feel like at least, as a funding member, we should have gotten some treats when it comes to the IAPs.. perhaps a “redeemable code” or two (or even three really) to make up for the investment would have gone a long way. Still going to give this a 5, but I honestly am quite annoyed by the whole IAP system not rewarding funding members. Cheers though, I have to dig in deeper into this app now — but I spent a lot of time on Audulus 3 and never used 4 even though I purchased it because it wasn’t available on iPhone when I purchased it (not really that much of an iPad music maker but more of an iPhone music maker kinda guy).

I'm not sure if anyone understands it, but Taylor Holliday has single handedly created one of the most advanced GUI kits in the whole world capable of running a very very very complicated data-flow language that itself runs hundreds and thousands of nodes so many times a second, it actually outputs sound. What he has done is one of the greatest achievements in the whole of computing, whether anyone sees it or not. You read his codes like the RUI and you see just how he deserves to be there. A genius project, way a way more genius implementation.
