Most reviews complain about reliability and data integrity: scheduling failures, frequent disconnects and sign-in problems, and data loss after updates. Core controls are often unresponsive, and the UI feels slow and confusing. A few mention usable mobile control and some Apple ecosystem features (Siri) working at times, and that earlier versions were better. Overall, the top pain points are reliability, data migration after updates, and usability, with limited but present positives when the app happens to work.

Pros

Mobile control of Della units from the app (when the connection is stable).

Cons

Scheduling is broken: can't create, save, or delete schedules; Scenes replaced automations and midnight scheduling is impossible.
Frequent disconnects and sign-in issues requiring re-pairing; the app logs users out and won't reconnect easily.
Updates caused data loss: saved devices, settings, and configurations disappeared, forcing a full re-setup.
Core controls are unreliable in the app: temperature/mode adjustments often don't apply or are slow to respond.
Clunky, slow, and confusing user interface; poor usability across devices, with inconsistent behavior.

Recent reviews

The app no longer allows to set the unit to auto mode, nor schedule it to run in auto. Overall, every app update proves to be worse than the previous. The app fail is the reason that I purchased different brand unit when I needed second one.

Since the preview doesn’t match what is displayed in the app, using the app becomes confusing. It also makes one wonder if the app is up-to-date. Shows of lack of detail which is usually a bad sign.
