Moved vendor locations were not updated. Had to visit the vendor support to find the actual booth number for multiple vendors even on Sunday. If their system was up to date why was the app not updated too?

But it has very limited functionality. I very much appreciate being able to select panels and scheduled events that can then be filtered; that is great. And in some respects the map is better than last year’s map. But it’s such a missed opportunity for the map to not be more interactive, especially on mobile. If you’re looking for a specific vendor (or more likely several) it would make so much more sense if you could tap on a location and be brought to whose station it is, and vice versa that when you’re looking up an exhibitor, you could tap to see where there booth number appears on the map. Back to the schedule, I appreciate the app notifications and the setting you can choose, but I kind of wish it could also just connect to my device’s calendar to display the selected events; but I guess it might then end up with stale data if a cancellation occurred or something.

Paid for silver level tickets for Orlando Bloom. Tickets were sent to an email we didn’t have access to. After asking the person how to retrieve them, they didn’t know what to do and sent us to the first floor where the “info desk.” After going to the first floor and not finding an info desk, I asked another worker and was told I would need to loop through the exit and re-enter the expo through the re-entry and that’s where customer service would be. After running around the convention center, I found customer service. They told me I actually needed to go back to the third floor (where I originally started) and find the “Epic” booth. FINALLY, someone helped me and it was as easy as giving them the name on the ticket. It is unacceptable that none of the workers knew this information and didn’t even know where to point me. These were $90 tickets I can no longer get a refund for. I’ve noticed lots of changes at this con compared to years past and this is the worst con I’ve ever attended. DO LESS.
