Somehow this app is 100x better than the old one but still awful. Search doesn’t work at all. Manually scrolling back a few days doesn’t work at all. It’s slow as molasses. That just tells you how bad the old app was. Basically this one looks nicer and doesn’t crash as much but is still virtually useless.

Absolutely ridiculous for a company of this size and this age to release an app and cause every single customer to have to re-authenticate and re-enter their username and password. We are a very small company and I know we lost a couple thousand dollars in labor having to deal with this.

Although I like the new layout and use of being able to access video playback, but I’ve noticed a few things different from the previous version (before the facelift): 1) it drains the battery much faster, 2) the iPhone gets a lot warmer when watching video and 3) whether in portrait or landscape mode on a single camera, after several minutes (maybe less than 5min) the image stops but the timeline keeps moving. Unless you are constantly watching you are thinking nothing is happening, but unless you noticed that the time stopped you could miss what you are watching for. I hope that they take this into consideration and fix these issues. All just equally important.
