With iPhone 17, when phone goes into screen lock mode, anytime player stops playing

The changes I would like to see are: 1) ignore the word "The" at the beginning of podcast names when alphabetizing the list. 2) Have an option to sync the list of podcasts on iCloud, so the app works the same on all of my Apple devices. This could be difficult to implement so I consider it nice to have. Downcast has this feature but the app is buggy; that's why I switched to Anytime Player.

2025-01-04	Sc*****	It’s stripped down and straight forward. It hasn’t asked for permissions yet. I hope that’s a good sign. I’ve been looking for an app just like this. If I shouldn’t get you started on Spotify, or even worse, Apple Music, give this one a try.

2024-10-02	Ye*****	I really love this app. I’m a fan of open source software so this is right up my alley. My recommendation for the future: 1. CarPlay support if possible. 2. Playlists (especially if they can be sorted by podcast so that all of the episodes for each podcast can be grouped together In the playlist) Other than that, thank you!
