User Reviews

User feedback shows a strong core gameplay and clean UI, but repeatedly cites audio problems and ads as major drawbacks. UI/UX glitches and occasional restart or control bugs are also mentioned. Overall, the negatives—audio failures and ads—stand out against generally functional gameplay.
Pros
  • Core gameplay is straightforward and reliable.
  • Clean, well-organized UI that's beginner-friendly.
  • The app delivers on its premise with minimal extraneous features.
Cons
  • Audio/sound issues reported across multiple reviews (sound not working, audio cutting out, trial audio problems).
  • Ads are intrusive or frustrating; users express desire for an ad-free paid option.
  • UI/UX glitches and bugs reported by multiple users (misleading start buttons, actions opening settings instead of a choice, occasional restart/sequence issues).

Dual N-Back can be done by anyone in their head by repeating sound and visuals from a few moments prior, but this is an app that allows you to train your memory In a similar way, and notifies you to stay consistent, it doesn’t flood you with ads and it’s an admirably simple and effective tool that’s does its job efficiently. The only thing is the tutorial for some can be lacking a bit of explanation and detail, I think it would be a bit better if they clarified that each sound and position is one turn (or N=1), and the number N is the amount of turns ago that you’re required to remember and respond to in the current turn.
