User Reviews

Runmefit offers solid step tracking and a broad suite of health metrics, plus watch-face customization and helpful reminders, which many users say support daily habits and weight loss. However, recurring issues dim the experience: data often fails to sync with Health and steps can disappear; the app frequently crashes or becomes unstable after updates; several important features have moved behind a Plus subscription; readings like heart rate, BP, steps, and temperature can be inaccurate; and UI changes can hide key views like week progress.
Pros
  • Robust step tracking that many users say helps with weight loss.
  • Comprehensive health metrics including sleep, stress, heart rate, blood pressure, glucose, and SpO2.
  • Hydration reminders to support daily health habits.
  • Customizable watch faces/backgrounds and long watch battery life.
  • Useful for staying on track with exercise and daily routines.
Cons
  • Unreliable syncing with Health; walking/running data may disappear.
  • Frequent crashes and instability; the app shuts down or becomes unresponsive.
  • Feature gating behind a Plus subscription that removes or limits essential features (BP, glucose, sleep, watch faces).
  • Inaccurate or inconsistent metrics (heart rate, steps, BP, temperature) across readings.
  • UI regressions after updates, such as losing week progress view or sleep tab issues.

I initially bought my watch so I could track my steps and heart rate throughout my day. I did not know I would need an app to track it, nor did I know that the app in question uses artificial intelligence. I know that if I don’t make an account I can’t use the ai, but I still get the impression that the ai still tracks things without my permission or knowledge. I can’t return the watch at this point so I may as well let people know what they’re signing up for.

It seems each time there is an update they take something away. It used to be so nice to have your pertinent information on one screen. But now to have your weight, you have to have premium service. I have a fitnus product for my health. I am on a fixed income which does not allow me to have the premium service. Also, every day I get the message that says wearing the fitnus one more day can accurately do something with my sleep cycle. I never take the band off. It states this everyday. I liked the previous screen layout. I do like that you can choose the face of the fitnus band through the app.
